- We've been enormously happy with our Motorola UDS V.3400 modems. They're
- expensive but perform admirably. I've had such bad experiences with USR
- modems (and a very large organization here hasn't had much luck with
- their Total Control system) that I didn't want to consider them. The
- most discouraging thing about the Hayes Century system is that you
- can only buy the modems in increments of 8 or 16! Apparently you
- can't buy the racks other than fully populated. Now that we're
- expanding, we're spending the money on more of the UDS V.3400's.
